    Question

    Ever hear of these guys?

EQ sent me a link to an Ebay action-
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=1187&tc=photo
which got my interest level going.......

    Found these at "go-boom.com"

Atlantic produced the great Goldrake series of figures/model kits, but lesser-known are the groovy "Galaxy Serie" posable figures. A series of 4 including a human, alien, and 2 robots which bring to mind Perry Rodan or Barbarella due to the dated "futuristic" designs. Hard to find in the USA and sure to give your space toy collection a unique twist.

-some of the vehicles look really cool

I've seen Sky Girl someplace before, Ebay I think, but never knew anything about the line until now. Sky Man's pretty cool, even his face looks Frazetta-ish.

    Some more stuff-
I guess this company was best know for it's "toy soldiers"
Atlantic was an Italian firm that came into business about 1970 and went out of business about 1986. They made both 1/72 (or there abouts) "HO" and 1/32 54-60mm plastic polyethylene figures. Some window box painted versions exist but most figures were sold unpainted in sets. Five basic catagories of figures were made; ancient, USA Western, WWII, Modern military, and space fantasy. The ancient figures and accessories are considered to be among the best ever produced, and the US western series was the most complex made by any manufacturer. Some of the figure sculpting is a little off, but these figures are avidly being sought after throughout the world. Most (if not all) of the 1/32 and a good portion of the 1/72 molds are now in Iraq....
